Our Siamese family members are people-oriented and are truly devoted companion
cats. People are always commenting on how calm our cats are! They are plenty feisty
and love to play, but when you hold them and cuddle, there blue eyes male them
melt into your arms. Their personalities range from lap cats to talkative
comedians. Our kittens' and cats spontaneous character keeps you laughing with
their antics.
I feel we have a special place in the world as a Traditional Siamese cat breeders. So
many people grew up with these Traditional cats. And when they pass away after so
many years of friendship and companionship, they leave a huge hole in the hearts'
of the people that loved them. We feel that undertaking these
responsibility’s make the world a little better by raising traditional Siamese kittens.
We fill the loneliness and void left by our beloved feline companions!
Our Breeding Objectives
Traditional or Applehead Siamese are the big-bodied,round-headed and highly
intelligent Siamese cats that many of us grew up with years ago.
In recent years, the standards for the Siamese breed in cat shows have radically
changed so that today's show cats have a streamlined, very elongated web shaped
head. Cat show judges, and the breeders they serve, would have us believe that
they never existed "Applehead" or round-headed Siamese! They try to say our Old
Fashioned Traditional Appleheads are mixed breeds, and some say they do not
recognize them as true Siamese. But some of our CFA pedigrees go back as far as
the day is long! This the reason you will see few Applehead Siamese at professional
cat shows only shown as household pets.
Traditional Siamese gives some of the history and personality of these. All of our
cats are registered with Cat Fancier's Association (CFA), in order to certify purity of
the Siamese breed. They also maintain the special physical and social
characteristics of the Old Fashioned Siamese cats. CFA Registered Traditional
Siamese are not only beautiful, but are extremely rare. CFA registration papers and
pedigree are available for all our cats.
Our goal is to keep this exquisite and highly intelligent breed alive, and to share
them with other Traditional Siamese cat lovers. Specifically, We breed for
intelligence, longevity, contrasting colors, round heads, big bodies, deep blue eyes,
calm temperaments. We still have retired grand-parents, and a few
older siblings in our home as pets.

Many people come to us having just lost their precious kitten or cat family member.
They don't want to live without replacing that special love, joy, and friendship. That
is the reason we breed Siamese at CATTAILS CATTERY and Cat of Tails. We feel we
are giving away a little package of Love and Joy and assisting in "filling holes" in
many people's hearts.
Shipping
A pet carrier will be needed for us to ship your kitten. We can purchase the carrier
for you at our cost of $45, or you can ship a carrier to us. Also, all airlines require
that a Health Certificate be issued for each kitten or cat within 10 days of travel. A
friend veterinarian does this for us at the very reasonable price of $70 for
Health Certificate/Exame.
It is customary that the purchaser cover the cost of shipping (ranging from $160 to
over $250 depending on the airlines and method of shipment), the purchase of a
carrier, and the cost of acquiring the Health Certificate. Delivery Cost to airport $50,
we have to make a 3 hour round trip to airport of 360 miles.
We offer personal delivery withing California only, for a nominal fee.
